2017 U.S. News & World Report Rankings

Today U.S. News and World Reportreleased its ranking of top hospitals. We are excited to share that MoBap was ranked #2 in the St. Louis Metro Area (only behind our sister hospital BJH) and #3 in Missouri (up one spot from last year).

MoBap was also rated “high performing” in ALL NINE conditions and procedures assessed by U.S. News: abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, aortic valve surgery, heart bypass surgery, heart failure, colon cancer surgery, COPD, lung cancer surgery, hip replacement, and knee replacement. Several factors are calculated into the rankings; including outcomes, quality and safety and patient satisfaction.

These accomplishments were achieved through collective excellence, clinical expertise and teamwork; and more specifically, through your compassionate care of all patients. When you create memorable moments for our MoBap patients, you are helping to achieve this prestigious recognition.

The excitement of today’s news gives us an opportunity to also be reenergized about the focus we have on our future. By leading the way through innovation, our clinical offerings will continue to achieve new heights and increasingly greater value in the form of better outcomes and a better experience, with more efficiency. As an example that’s immediately on the horizon, the implementation of EPIC will help improve integration and collaboration of care, both within MoBap and with other BJC hospitals, and enhance communications and patient experience.
