Dr. Matthew Collard is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He is a fellowship-trained trauma specialist with special interests in joint replacement and arthroscopic procedures. Dr. Collard is dedicated to focusing on each patient’s individual needs and does what is best for them while utilizing a team approach to deliver exceptional care.
Dr. Collard received a Bachelor of Arts degree in biochemistry at the University of Missouri before going to medical school at Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine. After, he went through his residency and internship at St. Luke’s Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Then, he received additional training through an AO fellowship at Universitätsspital Bern in Switzerland.
Dr. Collard is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, the American Osteopathic Association, and the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians & Surgeons.
In his free time, Dr. Collard enjoys spending time at the lake and gardening.
Dr. Collard sees patients at our main Orthopedic Associates location in St. Louis.
