Orthopedic Associates Welcomes Dr. Matthew Collard July 1
Dr. Matthew Collard, a local board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon, will be joining the team of experts at Orthopedic Associates. Beginning July 1, Dr. Collard will be seeing patients at Orthopedic Associates’ main office in St. Louis, located at 1050 Old Des Peres Road, Suite 100. Dr. Collard is a Missouri native and has been serving area patients in St. Louis for over 20 years. As an experienced orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Collard delivers general orthopedic care with particular interest in the shoulder, knee, hip, joint replacement, ankle, elbow, hand and wrist. Using his expertise, Dr. Collard delivers specialized care, including the following procedures and techniques:
- Arthroscopic procedures.
- Fracture care.
- Rotator cuff repair.
- Total joint replacements of the shoulder, hip and knee.
- Upper and lower extremity surgery.

Dr. Collard completed medical school at Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine. After, he went through his residency and internship at St. Luke’s Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis. Then, he received additional training through an AO fellowship at Universitätsspital Bern in Switzerland.
